Meet the Staff

Physical Therapist

Damon Collier, MPT

Damon brings over 20 years of work experience in orthopedics to St. Clair Physical Therapy. He contributes his successful outcomes to developing individualized treatment programs tailored to each patient’s specific needs. Through the steady pursuit of continuing education he sharpened his skills and acquired multiple proven techniques to expedite the rehabilitation of his patients. Among these, Damon is certified in the Graston Technique™ that has revolutionized the treatment of soft tissue injuries, increasing the speed of recovery. Damon also specializes in lower extremity biomechanical assessment, including the fabrication of Custom Foot Orthotics. As an athlete, he himself has struggled with orthopedic injuries and surgeries. These experiences have helped him develop a true empathy when working with patients.

Physical Therapist

Brandon Hughes, DPT

Brandon earned his Doctoral of Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Tampa, FL. His passion is making a personal impact in his community led him to the field of Physical Therapy. His extensive knowledge of biomechanics, kinesiology and manual therapy enables him to successfully treat a wide range of orthopaedic conditions. He loves continuing to expand his knowledge base to maximize the quality of life of all his patients. 

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Jennifer Conway, LPTA

Jennifer graduated from Delta College with an Associates Degree for Physical Therapist Assistant in 1996. Jennifer is also a licensed Massage Therapist from Delta College in 2002. She has worked in orthopedics and sports medicine for over 17 years with emphasis in using her manual therapy skills for patient treatment. She is also accomplished in Graston Technique, which she combines with rehabilitative exercises to improve musculoskeletal function. She is a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Matthew Marchetti, LPTA

Matt Marchetti graduated from Macomb Community College in 2011 as a licensed PTA.  He’s worked in several different settings from skilled nursing to pediatrics.   This has provided Matt with a unique skill set to assist with providing each patient individualized care.  Matt’s taken many continuing educational courses including Sports Metric ACL Tear Recovery Program, Kinesio Taping and Muscle Energy Techniques just to name a few.  Matt has also had the benefit of experiencing several major injuries throughout his life.  These have provided the unique opportunity to perceive the physical therapy industry as a patient.  It has helped Matt understand the frustrations, and more importantly the rewards associated with recovery.

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Margaret Polggiolo, LPTA

Margaret graduated from the Macomb Community College Physical Therapist Assistant Program in May 2008. She has worked in outpatient orthopedics for 3 years. Margaret plans on taking a course for Manual Therapy and Sports Rehab. Margaret is married with two children, one son and one daughter. She and her family enjoy snowmobiling and going to her cottage during the summer months.

Jessica Harbert, LPTA

Jessica Harbert graduated from the Macomb Community College Physical Therapy Assistant Program in May of 2021. She is a compassionate therapist who enjoys working with patients of all ages, but after years of helping her grandmother with daily tasks, she feels particularly passionate about working with the geriatric population. She comes to St. Clair Physical Therapy equipped with the latest techniques and research for the physical therapy profession.

Occupational Therapist

Carol Aaron, OTR, CHT

Carol Aaron graduated from Mount Mary University in 1997 with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy. After graduation Carol did her field work at Loyola University Hospital in Maywood Illinois and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She became a Certified Hand Therapist in 1991, the first year that offered the certification. She worked in several orthopedic and plastic and reconstructive surgery clinics in Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia and Buffalo, New York before joining St. Clair Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in 2007.

She sees both adults and children with a variety of diagnoses such as fractures, arthritis and soft tissue injures. Carol is also proficient in custom static and dynamic splints for her patients.
